Enrico Molteni studied at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), at the Arkitektskolen Aarhus (Denmark) and at the Univeritat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) where he obtained his PhD in 2004.
He completed an internship with Elìas Torres (Barcelona) and opened his first practice with Andrea Liverani in 1999. From 2018 he runs his own office in Milan.
His work has been published in magazines and books and has been recognized in international competitions, awards and exhibitions.
He has lectured and taught in Italian and foreign universities, including the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture on an ongoing basis for 8 years.
He currently teaches at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Università degli studi di Genova. In 2018 he has achieved the scientific licence as Associate Professor.
In addition to his professional and educational activity he contributes to international architectural discussions with writings and publications, initially on the work of Álvaro Siza and as a member of the editorial staff of Casabella since 2008.
